Sarah Page is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. She took part in the Royal Court Theatre's Young Writers' and Studio Writers' Groups. The winner of two Peggy Ramsay Foundation Awards and a finalist for the Nick Darke Writers' Award, Sarah's plays have been produced all over the world and she has been published by Bloomsbury Press, Oberon Books and Samuel French. Her first audio play, starring Jessie Buckley and Johnny Flynn, became a global success for Audible, winning the 2023 International Audie for Best Original Work and is currently being adapted as a feature film.
Sarah is an alumnus of the prestigious 4Screenwriting programme and the script she developed on this scheme was optioned by Benedict Cumberbatch's SunnyMarch. She was one of the writers on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist and chosen from thousands of entries for the BBC's Drama Writers' Programme. She was selected by BAFTA/BFI for their mentoring programme, and invited to become a BAFTA Connect member.
She has several original television shows and feature films currently in development, as well as a new Audible Original commission. She is writing on TRANSACTION a new sitcom for ITV/Big Talk which is filming this autumn.
Sarah is passionate about improving the diversity of the Film/TV industry and works with a number of charities mentoring new talent from underrepresented groups. She is represented by Independent Talent.
